On Saturday, February 21st, 2009 Kennedy’s godfather, Brad Nierenberg, and his company, Red Peg Marketing, hosted their 4^th annual Chance for Life event in Washington, DC.

Kennedy has always been a happy, social child.  But, soon after the arrival of her little brother, when she was just two years old, Kennedy began waking up at night screaming in horror.  On car rides she would begin screaming that her neck hurt and she was inconsolable

A holiday party for Washington’s elite was hosted by Doug Dixon and friends. Through their incredible generosity, $7,000 was raised for much needed research.  Kennedy's CORD is extremely grateful Doug and his most generous friends for this tremendous gift to spinal cord tumor research.
