Steven is 17 and the second of five boys in his family. He has always been a great guy with drive and ambition, honesty, and straight A's. Most importantly, he has a great big, kind heart. Steven was 16 in the spring of 2007.

Many thanks to Mike and Lisa Wente and family who were the first to join the cause by hosting a night of fundraising in their home helping to raise $5,000 for Steven's CORD Foundation. Steven's high school, DeSmet High School, hosted Ping Pong Ball Races in January, 2008 which was a huge success and raised $25,000 for the Foundation. The Afternoon at Mango event yielded $10,000 for the cause.
